Diverse Reading is about reading something you wouldn't normally choose to read. Challenge yourself to read about people different from you. This can help you to gain empathy and understanding of other races, religions, cultures, and more!

To participate in the Diverse Reading Challenge, choose books that are appropriate for you from the list linked below. Read and review three books. The form for reviewing books is included in the book list.

Braves Read is our new reading initiative at BHS. This initiative will require students to check out, read, and submit reviews on books they've read in our library. At the end of each midterm, we will hold a drawing to reward those who read and submitted reviews. Our hope is to increase reading within our school and promote a lifelong love of reading! Support our initiative by purchasing rewards from our Amazon Wish List.
