Congratulations to our VHS Dance Company for receiving a superior rating on both pieces performed at the UDEO High School State Dance Festival this weekend! There were 40 high schools involved that took masterclasses from university professors and presented both professional and student works for adjudication. Way to go Dance Company!

Viewmont High School Theatre is thrilled to announce that our production of "Crazy for You" has made it to the finals in 12 categories for the Utah Musical Theatre awards! This means that we were in the top 10 for those categories in the state! This also means that those nominated will be singing solos and the entire case will be performing a number from the show at the Eccles Theatre on April 12th!

Viewmont Girls Basketball Bantam League is starting!
Who: Teams for each grade for girls in 5th - 9th grade
The league will run April - June. Game schedules will be sent out once we have teams set. Practices will be once a week starting the second week of April.
Tryouts will be March 26 - March 27
5-6th grades from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, 7-9th grades from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Cost: $150 plus tournament fees if participating in tournaments. Payment will be collected once teams are announced.

Our debate team competed at state on Saturday. Congratulations to our debate coach Adam Jensen for being named Coach of the Year!
VHS Cheer Tryouts will be held Friday, March 28th at 4:00 pm.
This is for athletes that will be in 9th - 12th grades for the 2025-2026 school year.
Mandatory tryout clinics will be held Wednesday, March 26th and Thursday, March 27th from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the VHS Small Gym.
