Monday April 6th is Librarian Appreciation Day! We would like to celebrate our amazing Librarian, Michelle Brady!
Michelle has been married for nearly 28 years and is the proud mother of four sons, all of whom attended Sand Springs. She enjoys hiking, writing, and creating artwork, and is currently working on writing and illustrating several picture books.
Her favorite colors are variations of greens and reds, and she loves treating herself to meals from Jamba Juice and Cafe Rio. At home, her favorite dish is salmon prepared by her husband. She especially enjoys baking cookies with her boys and spending time exploring with her family—particularly in the spring and fall. That said, she is just as happy curling up with a good book any time of year.
Michelle enjoys reading a wide variety of books, with a special fondness for mysteries and historical fiction. She also loves going rock hunting with her family in different places.
One quirky fact about her is that she doesn’t like the feel or smell of balloons!
Michelle loves her job—working with children and sharing her passion for reading are two of the things that bring her the most joy.
