Kicked off Homecoming Week with another successful Whitewashing of the V!
Today our students came out to show support to our first responders in remembrance of September 11th. We lined the street outside of Viewmont High School to cheer on those amazing men and women. Thank you for all you do for us and our community!
Our students had a wonderful time at Club Rush today during lunch! We are excited about all of our student clubs at Viewmont! Come check them out during the Homecoming parade next Friday at 3:00!
VHS Parent University will be held during Parent Teacher Conferences on September 16th from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm in the VHS Media Center. Our special guest will be Weber State University. Come learn about scholarships, College Admissions, and Concurrent Enrollment (CE).

Come join the VHS Cheerleaders for a Mini Cheer Camp on August 28th, 29th, and 30th at Viewmont High School. The cost is $40 and it is for ages 4-12. T-shirts and bow to wear during the performance will be given on the second day of practice.
8/28 practice from 5-6 pm, 8/29 practice from 5-6 pm, 8/30 will be a performance at the Viewmont Football Game. Arrive at the school at 6:00 pm and meet the cheerleaders at the north side of the stadium. The mini cheerleaders will cheer on the sideline during the 2nd quarter of the game and perform at halftime around 7:30 pm.

This fundraiser helps to pay for competition fees for the school year and it is so fun for everyone involved!
The Viewmont Boys Golf Team is holding a fundraiser kids golf clinic on September 7th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Lakeside Golf Course, (1201 N. 1100 W. Bountiful). This is for kids ages 5 - 13. They will cover chipping, putting, and driving with the VHS Boys Golf Team.

Viewmont Vykelles are hosting a pickleball tournament fundraiser on August 24th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at The Picklr in Kaysville. Please see the attached flyer for more information. We welcomed the teachers and staff back-to-school today and had the first faculty meeting of the year. The student body officers were introduced and they announced the theme for this school year, "Every Viking, Every Victory, Every Voice".

Thank you to all who came to our Sophomore Orientation today at Viewmont High School! We were so happy to welcome our new incoming students! Friday Night Lights is on August 9th at the VHS Football Stadium. Freshmen/Sophomore game begins at 4:00 pm. Cardinal/Gold game begins at 6:00 pm. Come enjoy the FREE ADMISSION and watch performances by the VHS Cheerleaders, Vykelles, Mini Vykelles, Marching Band and Color Guard, CJH Cheer, BJH Cheer and much more! Viking Gear will be available for purchase and there will be lots of food! Come support Viking Football!
